K-12 Educators

The Experiential Learning Leadership Institute (ELLI) provides information, training and opportunities to K-12 educators. Our conferences are for those who would like to apply experiential and project-based learning into their classrooms. We welcome all who are just getting started, experiential education veterans, and all between.

Conferences with ELLI are a great place for you to start your Experiential Education journey. You will find yourself immersed in an information filled environment. You can attend sessions led by other professionals, get hands on experience, take graduate level courses, and connect with leaders in the experiential education field.
The Experiential Learning Leadership Institute is pleased to offer graduate level credit (5000 level) for attending Concurrent Sessions at this year's annual conference. If you are interested in these credits, fill out the form below and bring a check for the appropriate amount to the check-in table anytime during the conference.

This wide variety of perspectives will allow you to get a sampling of what experiential education can be used for. Higher Education

As a higher education professional, the Experiential Learning Leadership Institute will be a resource for you to get energized about your teaching or other endeavors. ELLI’s Annual conference has a retreat like feel which will rejuvenate your teaching and give you new and exciting tools to help you and your students. (Think of it like a massage for your teaching).

ELLI provides you with connections to experiential education programs from around the nation and hosts pre-conference workshops, by the National Society for Experiential Education (NSEE).
​
You will be able to explore different concepts of teaching with experiential education inside and out of the classroom. With our high caliber excursions and engaging workshops this experience is not something you should pass up.

I loved the way that experiential education within the classroom setting was explored as it isn't feasible to always take students out. I appreciated the in-depth exploration of how students learn as many university professors haven't had courses on how people learn.
Nonprofit

The Experiential Learning Leadership Institute provides resources and networking opportunities to those in the nonprofit sector. While attending one of our conferences you will be provided with information and materials from professionals in experiential education. You can attend our pre-conference workshops, attend our concurrent workshops, experience PechaKucha, and enjoy engaging excursions. You will have the opportunity to network with individuals from K-12, higher education and others from the nonprofit sector. This wide variety of perspectives will allow you to get a sampling of what experiential education can be used for. You will also be able to make connections with these individuals to assist you in your experiential education journey.
